First Visit
During this visit, which is offered at no charge, we will perform an in-depth evaluation and discuss what you hope to gain through treatment. A preliminary impression will allow us to determine if treatment is necessary.

One of three decisions will be made at this visit.
1. The patient is not ready for orthodontic treatment and is placed into an observation status and will be notified of a future appointment at the appropriate time.
2. A limited treatment will be suggested to correct necessary development of the teeth and jaw alignment. Appointments can be scheduled.
3. Comprehensive orthodontics will be suggested, and the next step would be diagnostic records to determine the ideal plan. Following the diagnostic records appointment you will then a have a consultation that will answer all your concerns and questions in detail.

Diagnostic records
If orthodontics is required, we will need various x-ray films and photographs. We will make study models of your teeth to create an individualized treatment plan. The diagnostic records can be taken at the initial visit for your convenience. (There will be a diagnostic charge incorporated at this time. However, no money is due at that initial appointment, and our Treatment Coordinator will incorporate this fee into your total treatment fee at the consultation.)

Consultation
At this point, we will review in depth the diagnosis and treatment plan, establish the patient's responsibilities, length of treatment, appliances required and the tx fee.

Fees/Insurance
We accept most insurance plans. We are a provider of Delta Dental. Treatment fees are dependent on many factors including: the difficulty of treatment, length of treatment and the various different appliances used for treatment. We will be glad to give you our best estimate at the initial appointment, but it is necessary to wait until the diagnosis has been made to determine the extent of the problems and the treatment necessary.

We offer three different payment options:
1. A payment discount if the fee is paid in full at the time of banding (putting the braces/appliances on).
2. An in-office payment plan which would involve an initial down payment and then monthly payments.
3. A loan is offered through our local bank, at your appointment we can give you the necessary information for this plan.

Common questions asked at the initial visit
    Q. What are the early warning signs of a bad bite?
  • upper front teeth protrude or are bucked.

  • improve the way the lips meet
  • also give your child the self esteem during the developmental stages of their lives
